Jujitsu Demonstration  At The Liverpool Blue Coat School Summer Fayre 2006

This  is our second time now at the Liverpool Blue Coat School Summer Fayre.

We Took eight of our top students this time, as we wanted to show Jujitsu at its very best.  It was a very hot and sunny day, not the sought of conditions that you would care to train in, but this did not stop the students performing their techniques to the highest level.  They had the public in awe with their full speed throws and gob-smacked with the height of  their forward rolls.  People watching could not get over 10 year old Orange Belt, Jonathon Cheliotis throwing our Black Belts all around the mat when he was put in the centre of them.

Each of the eight students who took  part in the demonstration received a participation award certificate.

What a day we had at the Bluecoat summer fair. (28) of our junior students turned up and put on a first class performance.   All around the matted area we had visitors to the fair watching the children performing their various techniques, both as a group and with their individual partners.  The exhibition lasted for one hour,  we finished off with fun and games.  Finally we had five seniors go through (throw for throw) which left the crowd in awe, and loud applause.   I would like to thank everyone who attended this demonstration and say that we are invited back next year, if anyone wants to come back.
