Grading System

Global Jujitsu Association / Academy: Jujitsu Syllabus,

Mon & Kyu Grade

Mon=Junior,   English Translation Means, Gate

Kyu=Senior,   English Translation Means, Rank/Class

All New Members Start with a White Gi and Belt (Obi)

A blue Tab on the bottom of their white belt signifies a beginner.

All Students would then follow either the Junior or Senior Syllabus depending on age.

After joining the club.  Students are able to buy our syllabus books.  priced at £5.00 including plastic case.

In the syllabus book you will find the names of the techniques which are required  for your next grading.  We only name techniques up to Green Belt, after that you need to fill in the name of the technique your-self in the spaces provided.  We feel  that at this stage you should be able to remember the names of the techniques shown to you. By reaching Green Belt you have turned the corner in both experience and ability.
